Cozumel Mexico will always hold a special place in my heart. The breathtaking beauty of the “Wild Side” waves as they break against sun bleached iron shore. The delightful culinary options ranging from quaint neighborhood loncherias to more lavish offerings from the likes of Casa Denis and La Mission, or if you fancy yourself a cocinero (cook), Mega and Chedraui, the Islands two main grocery/merchandise stores, offer fresh produce at prices that are very pleasing to the budged conscious. There are also a number of local shops in the Mercado offering an assortment of meat, fish and produce, as well as local pescaderias (fish shops) offering the finest in locally caught seafood.
Saint Martin is home to some of the most breathtaking and secluded soft sand beaches you will find anywhere in the Caribbean. One particular jem, Baie Rouge (Red Bay) is home to Gus’s, a welcoming cantina style beach spot, great for that “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, along with your favorite cold, refreshing beverage.
